On Thursday 30 October, DAMR organized their Annual Pitch & Mix Event, in collaboration with the Research & Documentation Centre (WODC) and the Ministry of Asylum and Migration. In two rounds of “pitching” and “mixing”, scientists from different Dutch universities and research centres presented their research to a group of policy makers from the Ministry of Asylum and Migration and the Ministry of Social Affairs. Topics ranged from return migration to labour migration, and from refugee integration to combating loneliness among older migrants. During the “mixing”, the researchers explored how their findings might help policy making on said topics together with policy professionals.
